About the Book
Though her mother has been missing since she was only a baby, Yara lives in a home full of love with her geologist father, Olivio, and her Abuela in a lively Caribbean village. About the Author
YThamar Vives lives in Florida with her wonderful husband, son, and their little black chihuahua. She came to writing stories through a lifetime of journaling, a vivid imagination, and working with children and families for over twenty years in elementary schools. Making jewelry and repairing old jewelry boxes, gardening, live music, and delicious meals shared with family and friends join writing in adding joy to YThamar’s life.
